Do I need Xbox Live Gold to play Fortnite Battle Royale?
Yes. You do need Xbox Live Gold in order to play Fortnite Battle Royale on Xbox.
Do I need PlayStation Plus to play Fortnite Battle Royale?
No. You do not need PS Plus in order to play Fortnite Battle Royale on PlayStation.
How are you addressing weapon bloom and accuracy?
We want to constantly improve the overall weapon and combat feel as we move forward. We plan to introduce a limited time mode in early 2018 showcasing the new shooting model that we have been testing internally. Here are some of our most recent discussions regarding weapon accuracy and combat feel.

Improving the weapon feel will be an ongoing process and we’ll continue to iterate to make the weapons feel right for the Fortnite Battle Royale universe.
Is Fortnite Battle Royale Cross-Play?
No. There is no cross-play in Fortnite Battle Royale. There is cross-progression between PC and PS4.
You’ll need to link your Epic Games ID to your PS4 account in order to enable cross-progression.
If you link your PS4 account to your Epic account, your PS4 progress will be reset. Please contact player support if you run into any issues with your progression.
How will you handle teamers in solo play?
We’ve built a system to automatically ban teamers in solo play.
If you ever encounter a player teaming be sure to also report them using the in-game feature. To find this you need to navigate to the settings menu and then click the “Feedback” button. You will then be given an option to report a player.
How are you handling cheaters (aimbots, overlays, etc)?
We take cheating very seriously on both a legal and game development front. We don’t want to tip our hand by talking in-depth about how we combat cheating.
Cheaters are permanently banned across all Epic products.
I would like to report a player, where can I do so?
Please send all player reports to our Player Support team.
You can use the in-game feedback tool located in the Main Menu.
There is an option to report a player in-game when spectating them.

BATTLE ROYALE NEW FEATURES
Will you introduce new weapons to Battle Royale?
Yes. We have a large arsenal of weapons to choose from in the Fortnite universe. We’ll have to see what makes the most sense when transferring them over to Battle Royale.
Will you add a first-person option?
No. We’re not planning to add a first-person option. We don’t feel it fits with the design style of Fortnite. We may revisit in the future.
I want to drive around. Where are the vehicles?
Right now we do not have any immediate plans to add vehicles. We’ve done some very early prototypes internally, but have concerns with how they’ll affect the flow of Battle Royale. We’ll let you know our plans when we have a better understanding of their impact.
Will you add more maps?
Yes, but not right away. We’ll also be looking into improving our current map, including adding more points of interest.
What else are you working to immediately improve or add?
We’re working to improve the feel of combat, controls, weapons, and movement.
What is the Battle Pass?
The Battle Pass rewards players with cosmetic for loot by playing the game and completing daily challenges. As soon as you buy the Battle Pass, you’ll instantly unlock a batch of great in-game rewards. The more you play, the more rewards you unlock. Level up even faster by knocking out those daily challenges.
Will I keep everything I earned with Battle Pass after it expires?
Yes, you will! Every item earned through the Battle Pass will remain in your inventory permanently.
When does Battle Pass season 2 end?
Battle Pass season 2 began Dec.14 and ends on Feb.20. Future seasons will be announced at a later time.
Will there be custom matchmaking?
Yes! We are currently testing private matches internally and plan to release this feature to everyone in the near future.
What do you plan to do about team killers?
We take team killing very seriously and have a system in place to catch and punish those who create a negative experience for other players. We do still encourage you to report these players using the in-game “Feedback” button that can be found in settings.
When will the Public Test Realm begin?
Our plan is to introduce the Public Test Realm in early 2018

Why did Epic make only Battle Royale free? When will the whole game be free?
We still have a lot of features to add before the PvE campaign is complete. We will launch the Save the World PvE campaign for free in 2018.
Now that Battle Royale is free, does that mean that PvP development is complete?
No. Fortnite is still in development and we will continue to improve and expand both the PvE and PvP game modes
Does Battle Royale mean that Fortnite is abandoning PvE?
No. The team has big plans and is continuing to add features and develop new modes to play, including the previously announced “Block Party” mode.
Will my progress in Fortnite PvE campaign transfer over into Battle Royale?
For now, PvE and PvP are not connected and we don’t know if Battle Royale will eventually connect to the Fortnite campaign. We are considering cosmetic connections between PvE and PvP and compendium-like content, but we’re still figuring it out. Let us know what you think would be cool.
V-bucks are shared between PVE and PVP game modes.
Will Fortnite Battle Royale be pay-to-win?
No. We will not sell items that give a competitive advantage.

How long will Founder’s Packs be available?
A date hasn’t been announced for when the current versions of Founder’s Packs will be retired. If anything is to be changed, we promise to give a heads up.
When will Fortnite be free-to-play?
Fortnite will be free-to-play at some point in 2018.
Which platform(s) can I play Fortnite on?
PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox One X PC and Mac.

If I purchase a Founder's Pack on your website, can I play on Xbox One?
No. In order to play on Xbox One, players must purchase Fortnite through the Xbox Store.
If I purchase a Founder's Pack on your website, can I play on PlayStation 4?
In order to gain access on PlayStation 4, players must link their Epic + PSN accounts. Link your accounts here.
There’s currently a known issue with connecting an existing PSN account to a new PC account. If you have progress or skins unlocked on your PSN account and attempt to link it with a new PC account your PS4 account will be overwritten. If this happens to you, please contact player support at this link.
Can I play Fortnite on PC with a controller?
Yes! We support controller compatibility on PC.
Is an Xbox Live Gold membership required to play Fortnite?
Yes, an Xbox Live Gold membership is required to play Fortnite.
If I’m on Xbox One, can I play with my PS4 friends, or the other way around? What about PC?
Cross-platform play is not supported by Fortnite at this time.
What about my in-game progression?
Cross-progression is supported on PC/Mac and PS4 only. Players must link their PSN account to their Epic ID in order to enable cross-progression. Link your accounts here.
Xbox One does not support cross-progression.
When will I be able to send my Friend Invites? Will my friends be able to play immediately?
Friend Invites will be available to be sent in-game from the moment you are able to participate in Early Access.

Can you share V-Bucks between Save the World and Battle Royale?
Yes, you can! Any V-Bucks earned/bought in Save the World or Battle Royale can be spent in the other game modes.
When can I start earning V-bucks in Save the World, and how?
You can start earning V-bucks in Save the World right now! You can do this by completing Stormshields by yourself or with a friend, and by successfully completing Daily Missions.

My Friend Invites were redeemed while I was streaming Fortnite, what can I do?
If you believe your friend codes have been used due to them appearing on stream, please contact our Player Support at fortnitehelp.epicgames.com to get this sorted out. To avoid this, please do not show your Friend Invites on stream. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working on a solution.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major payment methods, including but not limited to Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Yandex.Money, QIWI and more.
If I purchase a lower-tier Founder’s Pack, can I upgrade to a higher tier later?
Yes, Founder’s Pack upgrades will be available at an adjusted price for players who have already purchased a lower tier. Upgrade options will only be available through the in-game store.
What if I have problems purchasing V-bucks?
Please email our Support team at fortnitehelp.epicgames.com for assistance regarding purchases.
Are my V-bucks bound to the platform I purchase them on?
Yes. V-bucks that are purchased can only be used on that specific platform.There is no ability to move V-bucks between a console and PC. That said, if you have linked your PSN account with your Epic ID, any content you buy with V-bucks on PS4 will be also available on your Fortnite account on PC.
You can link your PSN account to your Epic account here. Currently, this is not supported on Xbox One.
PLAYER AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT
I see an error when I attempt to install the Epic Games launcher. It says “the installation package is not supported by this processor type”.
A 64-bit OS is required to install the Epic Games launcher and to run Fortnite.
